The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Liberal and Fine Arts proudly celebrates the cultural heartbeat of our city.
Sonidos de San Antonio marks a historic evening honoring the legacy and future of South Texas music through Sonido Tejano and Mariachi, performed by iconic artists alongside the newly formed UTSA student ensembles under the direction of Tejano legend Shelly Lares.
This special night not only celebrates our musical heritage, but also supports the next generation of artists through student scholarships and educational opportunities within UTSA’s music programs.
