Community-engaged arts research involves collaborative creative practices between artists, researchers, and communities to explore shared questions, foster dialogue, and generate social impact. UTSA faculty and students integrate artistic expression with scholarly inquiry to address local issues and support cultural development.
A grant from the nation’s largest funder of the humanities will allow the UTSA College of Liberal and Fine Arts to expand a program serving incarcerated scholars in the state.
