This lunchtime dialogue explores different types of creative resistance in the borderlands, featuring renowned architect Teddy Cruz alongside UTSA faculty members, John Philip Santos, Isabel Martinez, Paola Aguirre Serrano and Mark Menjívar. Together, they examine how art, design, and community practices challenge borders, cultivate resilience, and imagine more just, inclusive futures across the San Antonio and the larger US-Mexico Border. This program, presented by UTSA Arts, in collaboration with the School of Architecture + Planning, the School of Art, and the Interdisciplinary School for Engagement in the Social Sciences and Humanities, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
