Bomba Puertorriqueña: Raíces y Ritmos with Tambores del Pueblo

Tambores Del Pueblo, an Austin-based Puerto Rican Bomba Ensemble. Founded around 2018 by a group of friends with diverse professional music backgrounds from Puerto Rico and the US, their mission is to promote wellness and community through traditional dance and music. They have shared their performances and educational activities across multiple local venues and through volunteer work with local nonprofits.
Free percussion class for all:
4:00pm – 5:30pm: Bomba percussion class: Introduction to Puerto Rican Bomba rhythms and improvisation (Location TBD)
